IDA Oregon is working to expand the network of skyglow measurement sensors into the Columbia Gorge. Our goals are:

To identify and track the spread of light pollution from Portland into the Gorge and
-
To contribute night sky quality data to the Columbia River Gorge Commission’s Vital Sign Indicators Program to guide data-driven resource management decisions.
