The Perseid Meteor Shower Is Peaking Right Now!

The Perseid meteor shower is the most spectacular meteor shower of the year, sometimes producing 50-100 meteors per hour.  It peaks August 12-13 – happily coinciding this year with the new (no) moon – so more meteors will be visible.
